E.M. Bounds said, “Units of prayer combined, like drops of water, make an ocean which defies resistance!” I was really eager to include others in praying for our family. So I wrote this Letter to the Editor this week for our town’s weekly newspaper, The Kershaw News Era to share the story:

I want to share that last week my wife and I had our fourth child. The experience was bittersweet because my grandmother, Evelyn Stokes of Bishopville, SC passed away the very next day. My church family was so wonderful during this time, with many people attending the funeral visitation in Bishopville, even when I couldn’t be there.
