He’s baaaaack, and back with a vengeance!
When I was in school at Lee County’s Bishopville High a classmate, reported what came to be known as the Lee County Lizard Man. Although the seven-foot green guy has never been officially debunked, we all knew this was our classmate’s excuse for wrecking his car while drunk or high.

Now decades later, WIS tv reports another car accident is the reason the Lizard Man reemerges from Scape Ore Swamp? So ol’ Lizzy has a taste for cars, and now cats too it seems.
At the height of the lizard-mania, my dad and brother and I put gen-u-wine swamp water from Scape Ore in mason jars, labled them “Lizard Water,” and tried to sell them at Myrtle Beach while on vacation for $5. We didn’t sell any, but just maybe the idea’s time has come. Lizard Man lives!
